To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I went into this with an open mind, willing to go wherever the evidence led. By the time we were up to 4 shooters in the small pantry, I wasn't sure I was really along for the ride. Were the police corrupt? Absolutely. Did they try to hide important evidence? You bet. Does this mean that this was a conspiracy at the highest levels to kill RFK? Umm, still not quite sure. It is entirely possible that the police antics were more a case of just wanting to get the trial over and done with. The question as to whether Sirhan Sirhan was a Manchurian Candidate is absolutely fascinating. There was opportunity for brainwashing with his visits to the hospital for the head injury. But then again, it might of just been the head injury itself that led him to commit such a terrible deed. I still have an open mind, but more evidence, versus supposition, is needed.
I always believed that there was a cover-up regarding both Kennedy assassinations and A Lie Too Big to Fail presents a lot of information that I've never heard about RFK's murder. I would have given the book five stars because it's believable and presents a lot of facts about a case that should be reopened for an honest & complete investigation however the writing was a bit dry and caused me to take several unplanned naps. That being said I can't find fault with the authors conclusions and hopefully this book will open a lot of eyes and minds. I believe that JFK, RFK and MLK's assassinations are connected, I just hope that eventually we'll be give the truth on how this country was robbed of three of its greatest leaders.
