These bra hooks fit my Lane Bryant Cacique bras perfectly! I put them on various styles from Cacique and they all worked great! I ordered the 5-hook package first and quickly put it on a couple of bras when it arrived. It worked so well that I immediately ordered 2, 4-hook packages and they also worked perfectly on my Lane Bryant Cacique bras. The nude color doesn’t match perfectly but since no one will see the back of my bra, this doesn’t concern me. I also put it on a Torrid, 5-hook bra that I have and the hook spacing was slightly off but you could connect it and it was still comfortable to wear. The grey bra in the pic is the Torrid bra. I showed the line up and then how it looked once hooked. There is a very slight pucker between the hooks on the Torrid bra once hooked but the end result was fine. I wore a bra with this extender in it all day yesterday and it was very comfortable with no itchiness. I love the stretch in the extender. I would order these again and again. It also had super fast shipping!
They work perfectly, exactly what I was needing and looking for. Won't disappoint. Allows the roominess in a bra that women love. Why not use an extension? I have back problems and I don't like it tight around my ribcage, I feel like I'm dying, this fixed that problem. And I wear Victoria Secret bras, no matter the bra, they never seem to fit right. The bra is perfect now!
I have had a very difficult time finding bra extenders which have a half-inch spacing between the hooks. I don't know if companies are trying to manufacture to fit the metric system and it doesn't quite work with a standard half-inch. Happy to report that these ones are perfectly spaced. I use them with some bras from SOMA. Other extenders I have tried have way too much space between the hooks and it seems like they would cause the hooks on the actual bra to mis-align. These extenders are a good value because you get 2 of each color which is nice for the four-hook bras. The hooks on the extenders are made of plain silver metal, and attach securely to the bra. The fabric under the loop side is very soft and overall the extenders appear to be well-constructed.
I used these for some super stiff bras from Torrid I bought that were the right size but uncomfortable. I wore these with my new bras for a few days to break them in and now they fit great without them. I could see these being great for bras that are too small, maybe from weight gain or pregnancy, since they have an extra stretch to them along with the added inches. They can be tricky to keep hooked while hooking to the actual bra band, but I think that is because there are 5 hooks, and lets be real those are difficult to hook without an extender.
These are the perfect size I needed for my EU sized bras, but they are so itchy! All I want to do is take my bra off all day long so I can just scratch the itch. It seems to be the underside where the seam is stitched in. Bummed, because I really liked how stretchy they are.
They’d do the job fine if I bought a band that was 4 sizes too small. They’re very stretchy. Second, they’re itchy. Uncomfortably itchy. I had to return them because I couldn’t even stand it after 5 minutes. They do the job, though, if you can stand it, in a pinch.
As I've been losing weight, trying to keep up with my clothes sizing has been a big expensive challenge. I bought an underwire bra from Torrid, and even though I followed their size chart and purchased accordingly, the underwire dug very painfully into my ribs and even left a bruise that was painful for days. The bra extender saved me from having to return yet ANOTHER bra. I can use this until I lose enough weight around my ribs where I won't need to use this until I get to size down again. Very sturdy, as far as I can tell.
The only thing you might need to account for is that it adds a good inch or so to your band size on the tightest hook.
Why are bra sizes changed? I use size 38, have for many years, I ordered a 40 and still too tight. Ordered extenders to solve the problem, but breasts don't fit in the cups now...What is a woman to do?
