Good for it’s price. The protection is some kind of hard foam so don’t expect full cover when checking. Good for beginners or light sparring. I went with a medium size and you can see my shoe on the picture next to them. I’m a 10 US / 9 UK / 44 EU. The straps on the calve straps are definitely tight so I would recommend anyone of certain age or height to go with large.
fine for bag use. but the issues are... . was only a few months in and the velcro doesnt stick too well anymore. also when sparring or doing hand held pad work with a partner the foot cover often slides off the foot. oh - and dont get white - gets very dirty quickly and hard to get out in the wash.
I have been trying to find some muay thai shin guards which are small enough for me and these are! I am 5ft 1 and my shoe size is 3-4 (women's UK). Usually, the foot part would be over my toes, hence restricting movement. I got their smallest size (probably designed for children) but they fit and I'm happy. They also look pretty good :) However, they won't give you huge amounts of protection so expect bruises if other people are kicking you with their plastic pads on!
I bought these shin pads recently as I do both Muay Thai and Krav Maga in my freetime. It offers very light shin protection which is fine for some Muay Thai training with regards to shin kicks against pads etc! However, I would not recommend buying these for Krav Maga. We did defenses against kicks and these pads barely protected me. It still hurt a lot and I ended up with just as many bruises. I would recommend buying a more advanced pair of shin pads when doing Krav Maga. Otherwise, the quality, packaging and speed of delivery were great - no complaints on that side.
Good for light shin protection. Much more flexible than some of the heavier shin guards, however they don't offer as much protection as some of the heavier shin guards. I guess you would have to judge if you prefer a heavier level of protection or more ease of movement.
