Working remotely (like many people these days) and attending online meetings I was looking for a more comfortable headset to use with my laptop that was both wireless and little more comfortable than the Bluetooth device I use with my phone. By all accounts, the sound quality was good on this unit. However, it was very uncomfortable. After an hour or two of use, I'd have to switch from one ear to the other, and then not only would the other ear start hurting, but the "uncovered" side would also hurt from the clamp against the side of my head. After a full day of use I would literally have a headache.
There were additional issues pairing it with my computer; it seemed to have difficulty staying connected and wouldn't work with all applications. For example, if I was trying to listen to a voice message forwarded to my email, I not only wouldn't get any audio in the headset, I couldn't get it any other way on the computer unless I completely disabled the Bluetooth function. My smaller wireless Bluetooth would work flawlessly with both my phone and laptop connected at the same time; this unit seemed to lack this functionality, at least on a consistent basis.
It's a shame because apparently the sound quality is very good and was good at cutting out background noise; the battery life seemed good. I used it for a full week and had no issues with either of those matters; I just couldn't tolerate it physically for more than an hour or two.
unfortunately the main feature i was attracted to was the flip-up mike mute function, which did not work on a PC (windows 10). plus, even if it did work, you would need two hands to flip it up due to the mike pivot being so stiff. To add injury to insult, this headset pulled out my hair every time they moved! (i have very short hair). On the bright side, sound was decent, although a bit noisy.
I would not recommend purchasing these at all. They are very defective, I originally purchased 3 of these for my office staff and we had issues with the sound quality customers said they could hear everything but the person talking, we emailed the company for some assistance and never heard back from them. I ended up solving the sound issue with a setting on our phone app, then they kept disconnecting in the middle of phone calls even when fully charged, 2 of them just completely stopped working at one point you could hear nothing and no one could hear you. I requested replacements because I thought we just got a defective batch, then the 3rd one from the first order started doing the same thing, not holding charge, disconnecting, no longer connecting to the computer at all, no one could hear and the 2 replacements started acting up shortly after doing the same thing the first 2 did. Now we are returning ALL of them and going with a different brand. These reviews are very misleading, the company is very unprofessional as well still to this day have never heard back from them.
UPDATED - After about a year of daily use, the metal headband came loose and disconnected from the structure. A few pieces of plastic broke off which may have caused the assembly to lose the 'clamp' pressure on the head band inside of the assembly. Technically, the headset is a great value in terms of noise canceling, bluetooth distance, and sound quality. I'm just disappointed the headband just broke.
I have used this for several months and love it. It works so well, I have started taking it out of my office to the car for drives as well.
The headset quality seems good, and holds its charge, but I have been having major issues with the bluetooth connection just dropping midstream. I asked the supplier, and they just said - 'try repairing'... which did not work. Unfortunately for work calls or driving that is too much risk to have the call ping pong back from home to headset. Do not recommend
Headset seemed OK to begin with - I'm using it connected to a computer to do customer service. Seemed fine, reasonably comfortable, easy to use, though it does have trouble sitting in the charging base, but after a few weeks it kept disconnecting, and the audio quality was deteriorating. Contacted the seller three times via email for any tech support/advice as it's under warranty, and didn't hear back once. Luckily, Amazon stepped in and said I could return it and they'd reimburse me. The seller, WF USA, meanwhile, charged me a re-stocking fee! NOW they get in touch! Again, Amazon stepped in to reimburse the re-stocking fee. There are plenty of these types of headsets for sale on Amazon; avoid any being sold by WF USA.
First, it REALLY hurts my ear! There is beeping that I cannot figure out and to use with computer and phone you have to reconnect each time. Start your day on a skype call... connect... use phone... connect... end day.. start with phone.. connect... took me awhile to figure that one out!
I was disappointed with this headset. It was a bit uncomfortable to wear - pinched a bit. Sound was mediocre. Callers could hear me OK, though. I didn't keep it long enough to assess the battery life. I returned the item.
Bought SPECIFICALLY for use with computer for meetings. Waste of money to use with Windows 10 computer. Works great with phone. Going to try a few more “fix” ideas to get it to work then request to return it if can’t get connected. Ad is misleading about compatibility with new computers.
