Easy Bluetooth setup with my Windows 10 PC and with both Zoom and Skype. The clarity is good. I did some testing in Skype and the sound from my microphone is good but I’m unable to mute myself by pushing the boom straight up, as advertised. Mute is a critical feature for me and a main reason I bought this headset. How do I get the mute to work?
I purchased these to make calls on my cell around the office. I should preface this by saying I have a pretty big head. I could not get comfortable wearing this headset. I did have a couple "normal" sized headed people try it on and they felt it was comfortable on its largest setting.
my complaints about performance revolve around the short battery and the constant beep when you use the raise the mic to mute feature. I thought that was the coolest thing, and it was a big feature that lead to me purchasing this one. It beeps every 15 seconds or so to remind you that it's muted. I guess having that makes sense, but I tend to mute my mic during meeting so in case I do something loud or have a cough I don't disturb who ever is speaking. The constant beeping made it pretty impossible to use it for that purpose without getting totally annoyed.
If you have a normal sized head I would recommend these for its purpose, but if you have a big head, look for something else.
I bought this because I currently work at home. I use a VoIP phone which has an application that I have on my smart phone. I thought it would be nice to have a headset similar in design to the phone headsets commonly found in offices, and with the charging base and band this utilizes, looked like this would be perfect. It works, however there are a few annoyances. Setting this in the base to charge, you do have to sometimes reseat it for it to charge. It does not have the greatest sound quality, but it is similar to most inexpensive bluetooth headsets. The part that rests on your ear does become uncomfortable after about 45 minutes (for me at least). Also, the part on the other side of the band, which rests on your head, is the worst part. It is designed in such a way so as to look in pictures like it will spread out the minor force of the band on the other side of your head, but in fact the whole piece is very soft foam, so it just puts pressure on one small point of your head, which does become very uncomfortable I find. Overall, not bad for quick calls if you take breaks, but for longer calls you will have some irritation.
When I purchased this headset, it wasn't my first choice, but rather the most available due to a run on headsets related to COVID. I just assumed that it had a MUTE button since every other headset I've ever owned has had a small button that is clicked to mute the headset. It really shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the software being used, whether it's SKYPE, ZOOM, Teams, etc. Just turn off the mic!!! It's extremely inconvenient not be able to mute yourself while walking around, and only be able to do it through the computer or the phone. I frequently have to run back to my computer to unmute myself if I walk around during a long meeting. Very frustrating. Seems like it a very basic piece of functionality that was left off. (BTW - Pushing the microphone up doesn't work.) I would purchase a different model.
DANG!!!! I had the hardest time getting this device to pair with my laptop for me yo use for meeting and taking calls.
What they don’t do, is to provide you with the blue tooth device name:, (BH-M9S). provide you with instructions. All the while I was searching for willful as the device name.
Long story short; you have to Press and hold the MFB ( the button on the side). to turn off the M91 then press and hold the MFB 6 seconds to enter into pairing mode blue and red LED flashes alternately. WOWED!!!!!
I bought this headset to use as a volunteer with a call center. I had no problems hearing others, but when I spoke to them, they said it sounded like I was in a tunnel and was static-filled. It was also not seamless between 2 devices. I returned this headset. I bought another headset from ICOMTOFIT that is less bulky for $39.99. People can hear me clearly, it has much better quality and connection between 2 devices, and I can wear it all day without charging.
I purchased this product in order to attend conference calls. The sound overall is strong however the microphone seems to pick up EVERY little bit of background noise no matter how minor. I am needing to constantly mute and unmute the line in order to not distract others on the same call. This product is promoted as being "noise cancelling" however I am not having the same experience. I also cannot find any settings or directions on how to adjust this if it is possible. I may need to return this as I am not able to use it. If there is something that I am doing wrong someone please let me know.
I’ve had this headset since March, I’ve been working from for 5 months, I use it 5 days a week, roughly 8-9 hours a day and my only issue is the battery and the ear cushion/cuff. I’ve tried different chargers, different sockets and no matter what, the battery never exceeds 36%. I don’t work on weekends so I’ll leave it on the charge for the entire weekend starting Friday night and sometimes it will either say 36% or 24% on Monday morning. When charging, the red light comes on and it turns blue, indicating it’s fully charged but it never actually gets fully charged. Very frustrating! In regards to the ear cuff, being that I work long hour days, my ear sometimes gets sore. When I’m in between calls, I try to shift it from ears just to get some relief from the pressure/soreness. If not for the issues I’ve stated, I would have give 5 stars.
Purchased almost a year ago. Not bad for the price. Have had persistent connectivity issues with Bluetooth from the get go but this was bearable until recently. I teach an online class via Zoom and having to connect and reconnect my headset every few minutes is very disruptive to say the least. I keep it on the charging base when not in use so it’s probably not a battery issue. Perhaps it’s really not built to last for more than a year. My favorite Logitech lasted years but those are no longer available :-( It’s also not very comfortable. The free side tends to hurt my head after awhile. Wish there was more padding there.
