To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought these thinking that these would be like the same ones I bought in store but they are not at all. They hurt my head and snag on my natural 3c/4a/4b thick curly hair. The light blue one is the one I bought from a store Food Lion/ Harris Teeter and they were called blow-drying clips and the bottom one is from this website.
The colors are cute but it's not worth it. Don't buy these if your hair is like mine.
This is so unfortunate. While they at first appear to be sturdy, the ends actually snap incredibly easily. I'm not using him to grab bunches of hair or anything like that. I'm not opening the clip very wide at all. With very little pressure, they've just been snapping. About half of them have broken already, and I just bought them earlier this summer. I've only used to them three or four times. Don't waste your dollars.
Please do not purchase if you’re natural. Three clips broke while in my already sectioned, combed out hair. My finger got primed trying to remove the other half of the broken clip from my hair. Thank goodness I only needed a bandage for my finger. I regret buying this item!
I literally pressed the clip to open one and it broke off! My hair is short and soft, absolutely no reason for the clip to snap. So I did another and the same thing? Really! They are cute but they need to be sturdy and durable
These clips are absolutely horrible. They all keep breaking and this is the first time I am using them. That is about the 5th one that broke on me. I used to buy from a different vendor but they are slightly more expensive and don’t have prime shipping that why I tried these ones. Never again. I wish I could give zero stars. My old ones from a different vendor are still all in great condition I just needed more clips and these looked identical. I was so wrong, the quality is bad and not worth more than 50cents for the whole pack considering how quickly the break. Maybe the people giving good reviews got luckily and got decent batches but mine is crap.
Already breaking. I thought this company would be different than the last company I bought similar clips from last year. Those all broke after 2 months. I guess, no matter how rugged they LOOK, crappy plastic clips just stay crappy. These are not meant for hair with anything close to a wave or a curl or any bulk to it. They look like they should, but they don’t. Save your money and see if you can find something with a bit of rubber/latex/silicone in its molecular makeup to get just that little bit of give and flexibility. If someone wants to invent something like this with a bit more durability, call me asap. Thanks!
I used these clips for the first time, not the tenth time, last week. The clips keeps breaking when I tried to open them. I broke 6 in one day. So frustrating!! I brought them because I thought they would last and not rust easily. I guess I have to stick with the metal ones.
I will never buy from these people ever again. I've never done any reviews on Amazon like this but I wanted to warn people. These are terrible clips. They don't last at all!! Five of mines have broken already. Not the clip part but the handles keeps breaking off.
It may be bang for your buck, but don’t waste you money. It’s badly made. They’re not all evenly made, the worst is the end of the bill wasn’t completely flat mostly all of them, it would get caught in my hair and when I gave them a wash they nicked my finger (They were shallow, but a lot of them, I didn’t realize until a couple days later). I just threw them away. Just use you money on decent ones like from Conair.
