I think I didn’t realize there would be so many at this price. This is a great value. My fingers are susceptible to size changes based on water retention, travel, and, of corse, diet. The variety of band width adaptations is great. There seems to be one for each style of my rings. There are instructions included, which is good because I didn’t get how the spirals work. I am very pleased with this purchase; there are enough of these to share. But I probably won’t. Instead, I’ll get more rings!
We used this to resize my fiancees engagement ring since it was just a little too big but we didnt know what exactly we need. However, when we actually looked at the different implements there was only 1 item to resize a ring with a narrow band. If you have rings with thick bands you will have lots of options. Thin bands not so much. However the option we did use works fantastic.
I found the cords durable, easy to put on, and feel almost imperceptible (and I am quite sensitive to tags, scratchy materials, etc). I found the double-stick tape/inserts to be kind of useless, they didn't stay sticky, plastic is more inflexible, squeezed my finger more, etc. But the cord is great, I wore the same piece of cord for about 3mos, and finally cut a new piece as the other one was getting a bit stretched out and yellowed.
I'm finally getting around to resizing the ring but if I didn't, I'd think there's about 6-12mos of cord (for whichever size you prefer) here. Overall I only used about a quarter of the materials since the rest were wrong thickness and size, but hey, it was about the price of a mcChicken so
I chose to go with the spiral coil for a tighter fit. I was not able to get the inserts with the adhesive strips to fit my ring size. Works wonderfully and barely notice it’s there. Some times the coil ends unwrap, but not often and very easy to rewind around the ring. The only thing that bothers me is the discoloring after about a week of wearing. Slightly yellow now. Yes, it’s been cleaned. Not I did not use anything that would have stained it. Over all I would buy this again.
These were easy to put on and use. My daughter is a pre-teen and loves all kinds of jewelry. She needed some of these for some rings she was given that she'll grow into. They seem to work well for her. Trying them myself, I think they might be a little uncomfortable for an adult every day wear. Worth a try though, especially if only wearing a piece of jewelry occasionally or on certain occasions and don't have time or desire to get the ring permanently altered.
These are basically what you need for your rings to fit when they’re a little loose. Unfortunately the downside to these is either the swirly rounds are too bulky or the slip over pieces don’t stay on the ring so as you put your ring on the plastic piece ends up sliding right back here. I would say purchase this if you want to super glue the pieces on or just need something temporary til you get your ring fitted.
The inset pieces really need some adhesive to keep it on the ring. I wanted something I could put on the ring after I pulled it over my large knuckle to keep the ring from spinning. The onset plastic worked great but popped off (I did not glue it in) so it didn’t really work. So, I used the coil. This works well.
Comes with multiple styles & sizes which is a big plus. My husband is on dialysis causing a constant change of the fitting of his ring so having the ring sized down wouldn't be a option. My wedding band & engagement ring shifts since losing weight & I didn't want to have them welded together. This multi-pack fixes both our issues at 1 low price
