Excellent value for money, especially when bought in the three-pack.
Easy to use, it's not the most substantial mount, but it's fine for the money. It fits the Neos Smartcam perfectly and both camera and mount have continued to give good service during the recent wet and stormy weather.
For the money, the image is really clear and arming/disarming the house is a useful feature. The app is easy to use. It can be a bit annoying because of how sensitive the camera is, which can cause quite a few notifications.
I'm comparing this to the Arlo 4k system. For the cost, the Wyze cams are really hard to beat but if you need/want a system to notify you in a timely fashion when it's been triggered, then the Wyze setup may not be the ticket. That's the biggest advantage the Arlo system has on the Wyze, in my experience. The Arlo 4k system obviously has better video quality but the Wyze video is no chump. The Wyze is super easy to setup and the build quality seems good. The free 12-second event recording is pretty awesome and the app is somewhat intuitive. So yes, it's really good, but if you need instant notifications, without fail, the Arlo is probably the better buy even if it costs much more than the Wyze system.
They rarely record people. If they do, no playback. Error 06. Started when I subscribed to Cam Plus. According to online forums, this has been happening for at least a year, and Wyze can only say they “hope” to have the issue resolved soon. Well, a year isn’t “soon.” Please look for another security camera vendor. Also, avoid Wyze plugs. Also junk.
I have several Wyze cameras at my house and my mother recently asked me to get her some for her house. These housings are a lot easier to work with than the two piece screw together ones (the camera just slides in and clicks into place)...but for that reason, I would mostly recommend either using them indoors, or placing them in an area where they are well protected from weather and vandalism.
I bought these to house a Wyze camera outside. I know the cameras are interior camers but many individuals do use them on the exterior. So far so good. Sheltered by a tree. Rain, snow and below freezing weather, the Wyze camera is still kicking and I am into the second month. I might get a couple more cameras to set up outside.
