As the title says, we've had this in our nursery for two years and have generally been quite pleased with it! We're obviously happy enough about it that we purchased a second camera for our toddler's room, and then an entirely new set (camera and monitor) for my in-law's place for when we go up there.

Pros (including but not limited to):
- this monitor is NOT on Wifi, so no one can hack into the stream and talk to your baby through the microphone (why are some people the way they are?! I digress). If you're like me and don't want a Wifi monitor, then this is a great option
- for the price point, the camera quality (both day and night) is surprisingly decent
- it can pan around most of the room
- its "noise" setting has the option to be quite sensitive. I've always been able to hear my child making any sounds through the monitor -- even if they're just chatting or singing in their crib/bed. I like to be able to hear it all, just in case. Even so, there's a setting to change the sensitivity if you just want to hear crying for example and not all the chatter. I appreciate the flexibility this monitor offers
- and then of course, the price-point. For what you're paying this absolutely does the trick. You can add additional cameras (as we have) and the monitor can bounce between the two as needed. It's great.

Con:
- it can be a bit glitchy. Every now and then (as in maybe once or twice a day) the camera and volume will pause for 1-3 seconds. This I guess is annoying? But nothing to write home over. Only one time have I needed to take a pin and insert it into the "reset" button on the monitor. But even then, the fact it has a reset button is great -- problem solved.

I'd give this monitor 4 stars: I'm sure you could find a better (more expensive) one out there, but for this price, I think you're in the right place. We're happy with ours: two years, two kids, and counting!

360 rotation doesn’t always work

So far I’m enjoying this baby monitor! Great picture quality and the range and battery life have so far been awesome! The only issue I have is the rotation turning feature. The pan tilt is great but the side to side doesn’t always turn or I have to push the button several times before it works, which is frustrating! The whole reason I got this monitor is for the camera moving option as my last one did not have it and since he started moving in his crib it was needed! I’m debating to return and exchange for a new one!

ich war auf der Suche nach einem guten aber nicht zu teuren Babyphone. Für mir war wichtig, das die Bildqualität ausreichend ist, eine Nachtsichtfunktion bietet und sich drehen konnte in die vertikale und horizontale Richtung. Gesehen und gekauft.
Das Display macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Der Empfang reicht vom Erdgeschoss in den 1. Stock was für mich wichtig war. Vom Keller in den 1. Stock bricht die Verbindung teilweise oder meist eher komplett ab. Das ist aber auch immer etwas abhängig wie dick die Betondecken sind. bzw. welche Art Haus man hat. Die Kamera selbst hat ein geringes Eigengewicht was gut und schlecht zugleich ist. Sie steht sicher, aber kommt man etwas an das Kabel, kann sie leicht mal verrutschen. Evt. mit etwas befestigen wie z.b. Tesa Powerstrip. Aber das nur am Rande
Wir hatten etwas zu hohe Erwartungen an die Auflösung der Kamera. Sie könnte etwas besser sein, aber wenn man ehrlich ist reicht es auch aus! Man sieht dass das Kind Atmet und sich bewegt. Der Ton ist wirklich ganz gut. Man kann sich auch mit dem Partner/in unterhalten wenn einer beim Kind ist und der/die andere am Display im anderen Raum sich befindet.
Positive Eigenschaften:
+Gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis
+Kamera schwenkbar, man muss sie nicht penibel ausrichten. Es gibt eine Zoom-funktion die ist aber von der Auflösung her nicht so toll.
+Relativ gute Akkulaufzeit. (Kommt auch darauf an wie oft sich das Kind meldet und welchen Modus man eingestellt hat
+ Viele Funktionen wie z.b. Musik abspielen, Raumtemperaturanzeige, erweiterbar mit insgesamt bis zu 3 Kameras, ect...
Negativ:
- Speak and Talk Funktion funktioniert eher mäßig, da oft viel rauschen dabei ist. Um es einfach zu sagen... die Person am Display hat eine gute Ton Qualität aber die Person die an der Kameraseite ist hat öfter mal ein rauschen und ist nicht gut zu verstehen.

Leider hat nach einem halben Jahr die Kamera den Dienst eingestellt. Der Verkäufer kümmerte sich sofort darum und hat uns schnell einen Ersatz geschickt! Der Service bei diesem Anbieter war wirklich vorbildlich gut und hat ohne große Diskussionen für den Ersatz gesorgt. Man braucht ja schließlich ein Babyphone.

Mein Fazit: Ich würde diese Kamera immer wieder kaufen, weil sie ausreichend ist und ein gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis bietet. Früher gab es sowas nicht und man ist trotzdem groß geworden :)

The reset button

This is a handy monitor to use for a senior or any person who is incapacitated in bed. It broadcasts sound so pleas for help can be heard also. The first night I used it the screen froze. It is necessary to re-plug and push the reset button to get it working again. My biggest complaint is that the reset button is located in a very tiny hole at the back of the monitor. It would be convenient if it came with a tool to get at this button. I was frantically hunting around for a needle or thin nail to fit in this hole. So far I am happy to say that the screen hasn’t frozen again.

Love that this product comes in a small compact package with very little garbage. Most of the packaging can be recycled.
The unit is small and sleek design and fits in my hand perfectly. I love how easy it is to move the camera around the room or to another room so easily. The voice control is perfect and the talk back function is great especially if I have it in my older child's room. It would be awesome if I was able to find extra cameras easy so I can have some in multiple rooms but it is easy for pack up and move around or even to take to grandparents or cottage. It's very easy to understand how to use it which is great I don't have time to go through too much information as a busy mom with a infant.
Price point in my opinion is comparable with compition and if I had to buy (as this was a gift) I would buy again.

So like many others I purchased a much more expensive system which had smart functions and wifi enabled, etc.

Those didn’t work at all. So when we finally gave up trying to fix those, we opted to get this one when our daughter was old enough to be sleeping on her own.

It works very well. Very easy to set up. Picture quality could be better for sure. It’s quite grainy. But the battery life lasts a very long time. And rarely looses connection

I have always had Vtech monitors and have had nothing but problem after problem, my son is almost 3 so we don’t use it all the time so I needed something inexpensive but also that will work while we’re outside, in the garage etc..

I’ve had it for 1 month only, so I will come back and update after some more use. So far I’m very impressed with the battery life. I charge overnight and it lasts id say.. 8 hours? I turn it off when not in use to conserve. The night vision is crystal clear and the sound quality is much louder than Vtech, I have to keep it way down and I can still hear what he’s saying very clearly. Vtech, you had to have the volume up all the way and sometimes it wasn’t clear what he was saying.

Overall impressed so far, however I find monitors usually start to fail after a year of use. As I said above; I will update this review after more use.

I like the room temperature feature, the sound features/notifications, ease of use, light weight parent device and easy to rotate child device. Battery life seems to be good too- ours is set to have the screen only come on for loud baby noises, so it isn’t left on all night non-stop.
Overall I am enjoying this camera.
