This is a delightful bedtime nightlight which is both cute and almost cuddly but no way does it get anywhere near its stated specifications. It clearly states that the light will last all night, 15 hours use on white light and 12 hours on colour! I have checked the battery capacity which was 1200 mah ish when bought but after about a month is now only 1060 mah! even though it is at 88% of its original and stated capacity it only lasts at most 7 hours 30 minutes white light on a full charge and takes 3 hours 30 minutes to recharge fully. Thats only 50% of the claimed duration which is a disgrace! I am not the only one to have given this negative feedback but Amazon are still allowing the supplier to claim these false specifications which people are being misled. Come on Amazon listen to your customers and make your suppliers responsible for their lies.
Out of the box it seems great. But too many issues have risen since giving it as a gift on xmas.
First of all, may be my fault, but it doesn't have set colour options. Off/white/colour rotation. Due to the colourful image advertising it, looks like you get to choose your colour. But sadly not.
The sensor itself to switch between modes is lucky at best. You are meant to pay the cats head, but often just leaves it squashed and deflated ithout changing anything. The best option seems to be tapping whatever unit it's on.
It needs charged almost every night. There seems to be a big issue with its battery retention/consumption. It needs charged for ages, to get a few hours worth of light out of it.
The light itself is bright enough, but not too bright. And the design is cute.
But so far regret buying it, I am going to contact the seller to see if they have any input.
Suprise with this lamp. Was bright enough to read in white possition and proper dark in red. Disappointingly any info how looks like full battery and during charging. Red light was flashing while charging and nothing when was full, I assume. Difficult to remember to charge it every day so we used it around 10-14 times, no more. Used from Easter and now is broken 5 June. I feel like it is disposable. Very disappointing.
I love everything about this nightlight, apart from the fact that it turns itself off in the middle of the night!
I’m so fed up of my son waking me up crying at 3am because his room is in total darkness. Every morning we put it on charge and leave it charging for the whole day, so that’s not the problem. Anyway, the leaflet says that 3 or 4 hours charging should give you light for 15 hours. We get nowhere near that, 8 at best.
Please can you tell us what we’re doing wrong, or send us a replacement product asap? It’s hugely frustrating. Thank you.
To be honest,im not a fan of this that i bought as a bedside touch light, not as easy to turn off i thought, the bottom with the bulb and charger port keeps falling out. This has no plug and charges with a D shaped phone charger.I wouldnt personally recommend.
This product from this company took over a month to arrive. The white light is bright and charging is 3 hours, however the battery life only last max 7 hours once it has charged not the advertised time stated and less if you use the colour setting. You do not get a plug with the light.
I’ll keep this brief. Basically it’s a great light, my daughter loves it but.... 1 nights battery life is pathetic for modern batteries/LED lights. Therefore, if we are rushing about and forget to charge it everyday, our daughter gets upset. So, almost good, better battery required.
