Eh. Not sure if this is fake or watered down or just NOt for my hair. I like amika priming wizard much better for the price. This one doesnt seem to moisturize my thick curly hair and just kind of coats it. Have to layer a ton of other products to achieve what I would with other primers. Eh... too expensive . If it made my hair soft and frizz free I would buy it no matter what the cost. Beautiful scent doesnt make it worth the price for me.
I was really wanting to like this leave in. But it failed. I had heard so many people liking this product that I thought I would finally give it a try. I was soooo disappointed! It was too heavy even for my thick curly/wavy hair! I even tried just using a tiny bit. No go. Maybe it will work for you. Way too expensive to not be used, ugh!!
Not sure if this is a fake item or not, as I have seen tons of them coming from Amazon recently, but this smells awful compared to other Oribe products I have purchased. It smells rotten and like it is past its expiration date. I'd return it but I didn't even open it until it was past the return date which was a month later. Total waste.
I cannot get past the smell. The smell is a combination of clean and dirty - kind of like if you washed your clothes, but left it in the machine for too long that it smells like the grime left behind from the wash cycles. I tried it for a total of 3 times then decided to toss it out. Throughout the times I used it, the smell of it on my hair throughout the day just permeates.. constantly reminding me what a bad decision I made that morning to put it in my hair. Cause of the smell? Probably because the product I got was too old or maybe it wasn’t the real product? Either way, check upon receipt of the item to make sure its legit.
I purchased this product several week ago based on recommendations from both hair dressers as well as colleagues and I was really disappointing. After nearly two week of trying to give this product a chance it did little to nothing to hydrate my natural curls (or hair for that matter). -I do not have color treated hair so no it has nothing to do with over processed or dyed hair. The product just did not work for me at all and the price was ridiculous for something that didn't move the needle.
