To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The base of the stand is very small, making the stand wobbly on carpet. The keyhole mounting bracket is too short for Klipsch R-41M speakers unless you only attach the bottom with one screw instead of two, which makes it not very secure. The bracket also makes it very difficult to connect the speaker wires to the contacts.
The stand comes in three parts: the base, middle column, and top column with the speaker platform, where the brackets attach. Because of this, you'd better tighten all the screws as much as you can, because otherwise there will be rattling. I guess they made it this way to reduce the size of the packaging, but it results in a lower quality product.
The stand does its job once you've gotten everything secured, but not very well.
The concept-design is good but the materials, stability and less than good fit make it not something I would buy again. I put my speakers on and the resonance due to the flimsy construction made them just useless. they are going to good will
Despite several answers to my question, you cannot mount a Sonos Play 1 on these stands even though they have a rear mounting hole. With the L bracket installed on the stand to screw the speaker into you cannot fit the Sonos power cable rendering the stand useless for Sonos. The Sanus stands, while much more expensive, are designed for Sonos and work perfectly. Buy those instead.
Not really meant for real speakers I guess, at least the connection to the back of my speaker was incompatible with what was supplied. Also, they seemed less that stable, would not want them anywhere there was any kind of vibration, they might tip over.
