This product “AnyCast” was very low quality in the video range not even able to put up 720p resolution while using an iphone xr and/or iphone xs max set up was not bad but could be better as you need to go to an unknown untrusted website just to put in your wifi information and on the home screen it was just fine although as i try to play videos on Netfix it would just freeze and make me redo the setup. do not get this product just get a chrome cast from google/ best buy way more worth it than the “AnyCast” and the Chrome cast actually has good resolution and meets up to its expectations!!!!!!!
Blue light comes on next to the button, but nothing will display on the screen regardless what input or TV i use. Might order another just in case this is a defective one or just go with the name brand one.
What a steal... First item I ever return!! I always read reviews and size charts etc before I buy. It just doesn't work and I'm not surprised if the other reviews are fake... It literally doesn't work. Tried it with Android and apple. Even my husband tried and NOTHING!! Just don't buy it and save yourself some trouble. I told them that if they wanted to they were welcome to walk through all of it with me over the phone and they never replied my messages after that.... They know is just fake!
This device is as close to fraud as it can get. Amazon advertisement states No App needed. Have problems and go to site. Every suggestion says to install app. . Used 3 Androids, 2 PCs and 1 Apple iPad device unable to locate device in wifi on all but 1 PC with older software. Used all the tips online nothing worked. Length of cords of wireless receiver should be longer due to the length the picture stutters and jumps due to it moving/falling. The length may be good for a 19 in/20in/22 in TV but it is definitely not made for a 42 inch. If you take cord to full length of cord and secure it the device comes out of the HDMI port. Also the reset of the device doesn't work.
Geezus, this product has the most confusing instructions and does not clearly indicate if your source MUST HAVE Miracast or is Miracast compatible! I've spend maybe at least 4 hours trying to see why my Windows 10 laptop isn't mirroring to my TV and after some long research on the web, I find out that my computer system MUST HAVE OR MUST BE COMPATIBLE to have Miracast! Just horrible! I was able to mirror my iPhone very easily. But mirroring my Windows - based system was a pain! I'm taking back this item. Please be MUCH MORE CLEAR on the instructions AND system requirements! Please for the sake of your customers wasted time trying to figure out what is wrong.
Update- If you have a Roku stick there is no need for this device. Roku setup was super easy and had no lag. Wish I knew that before getting this thing.
Got it to sorta work twice and then it didn't. Contacted the company. They were quick, but their instructions did not match up with what I was seeing from the product. After I told them that, they sent me the same instructions. I don't care how many times you tell me to do something, if the product doesn't give me the chance to follow them, the instructions are useless. Unless you want to just waste the $, stay away and try something else.
It was easy to connect to the TV. The problem is when I talked customer service. Found out th item is out of date. It has to up graded it. It won't connect to wifi to up graded. It has to up grade to connect to wifi?!?! So....how do I up grade this thing again??? Its not worth the stress. I'll see if can get a refund or a up graded one.
I purchased this product to cast my phone screen to my television, but I constantly have issues with the cast skipping and jumping or just freezing all together. I would check my internet, but my internet would be working fine. I've tried positioning my phone closer to the device. No change. I've also tried casting the device in the same room as my wifi modem/router. No change. I am very displeased and disappointed with this device and I really feel as though I wasted my money. I wish that I never made this purchase.
I would rate this product a zero because it was defective right out of the package it wouldn't turn on it wouldn't even power up so I had to send it right back the same day I received it so it would not recommend getting this product again.
