So when I ordered this product, I was so excited I couldn’t wait for it to arrive. The idea of the device is great I have an old tv and I never used it bc I always though I need a smart tv to screen mirror my phone. Than I found out I didn’t! I looked up this item and I bought it. It had good reviews and it was cheap. I saw these running for 10-30$. When it arrived I quickly installed it. 5 seconds later everything on my phone I could see it on my tv. It would Just not let me watch Netflix, Hulu, movies, downloaded Movies on my phone, Or YouTube movies, like wtf? And it took me almost 30 minutes to figure out how to connect the Anycast to my home WiFi. I wonder if my devices just came damaged or something either way I Will be returning.
This worked well to cast macbook air , iphone, and ipad but today when I tried upgrading it, it stopped working. No wifi signal from it at all, so no resets, pairing, etc were possible. Tried every video tutorial possible, and the website help page. Lots of helpful stuff if you can see AnyCast XXXXXXXX in your wifi list, but nothing if the problem is the blue power light is on but no wireless signal is emitting so no recognition is possible by any devices.
I finally returned this product but I admit it is easy to use and easy to install. I was intending to cast my iPad pro to my TV, but the resolution came out un-satisfied even I have double checked the resolution settings to be 1080p. It never reaches a 1080p if I cast my iPad to my 4K TV. I don't know why!
Cool device. Doesn’t work for NETFLIX though. Was working well for other streaming sites when going full screen then one day it just stopped working in full screen. Now it just freezes if I try and go full screen on anything.
