Great deal on this new small synth. I really like the interface and control over the sound generators. Others have mentioned how sometimes when using some of the features, the synth will suddenly "scroll" through its sound library and then stop on a different sound. Maybe I am hitting something wrong on the keyboard, but this seems to occur when I am using the sequencer or arpeggiator. I have not done much programming, but those sounds are mostly pretty cool. Compares very favorably to the Korg Volca Keys.
Added this to my "dawless" setup a few months ago and it's been a LOT of fun to use. Good analog drum sounds - decent PCM sounds give some extra variety. The stutter and roll options make for great improvisation. Pads dont register gentle taps reliably so you have to get used to playing certain way (firmware fixable?). As with the UNO synth, I got tired of the parameter matrix knobs being so close together and swapped them for smaller ones I had kicking around. Battery life is quite minimal so I recommend powering it with a USB external battery or rechargables. The 4 page sequencer is a great improvement over the UNO synth. 100 kits and 100 x 64-step sequences plus song mode! Blows away the volca offering and gives more expensive options (drumbrute impact) a run for it's money. This is without a doubt the most lightweight and portable drum machine I've ever used. Fits easily in the front pocket of my laptop case. I don't like the idea of collecting gear on principle but IK have me pleasantly surprised two times in a row now and I'm likely to give any other UNOs they come out with try after this :)
Bedienoberfläche übersichtlich und selbsterklärend.Gefälliges und modernes Design.Guter Klang.
Great little synth for the price, but man was their support just embarrassing level bad. Had some initial issues with which audio cable to use since I had to order 1/8". Ended up ordering the wrong one (TRS). E-mailed support to confirm which cable to use and they responded "standard 1/8" AUX cable." If you search Amazon for "standard 1/8" AUX cable," you'll get a bunch of TRS cables when you ACTUALLY need a TS cable, something I figured out on my own (but not after buying multiple wrong ones). This info is not in their user manual either.
The most fun drum machine for me south of 400$. I've tried the TR 08, Volca Beats / Drums. For me, the sounds are good & simpler to manipulate then on the Volcas, easily expanded to 16+ steps and more intuitive & accessible for live play. Only downside for me was build quality of the battery box. Had to put in a spring to make it work. Not sure they forgot it, or whether it came off after first battery exchange. Biggest flaw for me is that it misses a sync in / out to easily talk to Korg devices.
