To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This chain wear checker bends too easily for my liking. It seems to be a combination of its inherent length, the thinness of the metal and how soft it seems. My old Park Tool checker felt more robust (although I’ve given it away since I took this photograph so I can’t now compare). I wouldn’t fancy stuffing the CC-4 into a tool roll. For that I use my even older Unior, which is appreciably more substantial (see pic).
I got this as I could not find my Cyclo chain gauge. Its straight forward to use but did not inspire confidence. I subsequently found my Cyclo gauge and its a much better tool, no idea how much I paid for it but I would think less than the Park Tools one.
