A potato or a ear of corn will not fit. You can still use it but the top will not shut. I used not big potatoes and frozen corn which is not that bit. It cooked the corn all right but I would have been much happier if I had known it was so small.
Very large. Got for my dad after an incident with a potato bag that set our microwave on fire. He loved that thing before, so I wanted a safer alternative minus needing a fire extinguisher. Haven’t used yet but it looks great and sturdy.
Best corn on the cob - potatoe microwave cooker EVER and I love sweet potatoes and they come out absolutely perfect too ! Sturdy easy to clean just love everything about this invention! Don’t know how I did without it ! great helping hand addition for any kitchen just try it & see ! My new 1700 watt microwave may be the helper here too so if it’s not impressive you might consider that awesome invention too !
I used the rapid corn & potato cooker for both corn on the cob and for baked potatoes. This rapid cooker is wonderful to use, less time and no mess to clean up. Both corn and potato takes only 3 minutes in the microwave with the rapid cooker, taste of food is great. Can also use this for steamed veggies.
This microwavable steamer works well for vegetables and frozen burritos and other foods that need steaming. I like the adjustable vent. Simple but very effective. Only downside is that it can take a little elbow grease to clean if you steam something greasy. Recommended.
This is similar to a dish that I had years ago that I used in the microwave all the time. I don't really think it needs the separation panel down the middle. I tried to use it last night for corn but the corn we have is too long for the dish. Maybe you can make a little bit bigger one in the future. Looking forward to trying it out.
I feel deceived by the 4.5 star rating on Amazon. I tried using it twice, once with corn and a second time with potato’s and both times undercooked product and a scorching hot lid to remove. Easier to simply put potato’s onto the microwave plate. Easier to cook corn in husk in microwave. Would return but not worth the effort. Product is more of a one star.
