To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
For starters, it doesn't sit flat on the counter when it is opened. The two halves are poorly aligned, so if one side is sitting flat the other side is angled up. Pushing both sides down flat will break the rivets that try to hold it together. And speaking of that, it's flimsy. Not just in the hands of a gorilla such as myself, but even my wife commented that it wouldn't take much to bend or deform it.
They include a small card that has "happy pictures of dogs" on it-apparently that is supposed to appease the purchaser when they open the package and realize what a poor quality press this really is. They should have spent the money they used on the cards to improve the quality of the press.
And I won't get into all of the misspellings and poorly translated grammar on the packaging. For example, the word litter replaces the word little, stuff like that.
On second thought, maybe the word litter is indeed what they meant.
I used these to make ravioli. Sides were not even so cannot cut in perfect circle had to use cookie cutter instead. I don’t know if it’s the pastry dough or the cutter but it was difficult to take out the finished product because it was not completely released. Got stuck on the sides of the mold.
It's ok. It does it's purpose if you really hold it together and stretch the dough correctly but does not make it easier. It doesn't really seal good. Some may open when cooking. I don't like it but someone else may. Idk
