Ordered this kit for my new 2019 Toyota RAV4. Fits the center console perfectly and provides a great way to organize items. The center console of the RAV4 is very deep, (like a live fish well), but all items stored in it, flop and roll around. This tray provides a great way to organize items. The mats also fit perfectly and look great. Only one complaint...it sits above the bottom of the center console and rests on the inner rim of the console. There's a small amount of empty space under the tray. It's not easy to pull the tray up and out, if you had to access the space underneath. Not a major concern, because why would you really really need to access the space under the tray, but a small notch or cut out would make it a lot easier to lift up and out if needed. I would order again.
This fits nicely into my 2020 Rav4 Hybrid. Toyota really left a giant hole in the center console and this product fills it nicely. The plastic is on the thinner side so I don't know how much activity it can survive being taken in and out. For me, I rarely have to open lift it up to get things stored below it so I'm very pleased with how it's been going. i work out of my car so I do use this often. I use it to hold pens, change, and my various key cards.
Dropped right in to my 2020 Hybrid XLE and is a really valuable upgrade. It is only a built-in removal handle short of 5 stars. As others have suggested, I used black gaffer's tape to make tabs on the side to get a better grip. This is a perfectly good solution and if you use matte black as I did, you'll never even know they're there.
I like the tray, which fits very well, and came with two sets of mats. Obviously, storage underneath is reduced somewhat, but that should be anticipated. However, it can be difficult to remove when I want to access the area beneath it. This may change with experience, but I think a trip back to the drawing board is in order. Perhaps a strategically placed fingerhole would suffice.
Fit perfectly, material good, 2 rubber pads included. Minor issues, could use slightly higher separation panels for loose items to stay in place. Also no figure hole to pull it out to access items below, need to lift out by panel.
