well, this story has gone off to La La land...turns out big evil corporations got togeather to end the world and survive by living in pre built Arks and then detonating an EMP so they could...ah, who cares. Gave up when the author stated talking about how Autism and Cancer had been increased by said evil corporations to make a profit from selling medicine??? but they kill the world to also make profit??? American conspiracy rubbish...for when a decent plot is just too hard.
I read the first book and ordered the second book five seconds after finishing the first. Great story line with enough twists and turns to keep everything exciting. Once I started reading it was really hard to stop and my wife is mad I haven't paid any attention to her and the tv for a couple of weeks.
In book 2 here you continue the story of people trying to survive the end of America, The author does a fantastic job drawing you in to the story, bringing the mystery of who's really on your side and whos not.... Takes you to the battle and the heroism of some unexpected casts. The emotions of the ones you love in the story that each cast member would go through when they lose one of their own. This is a great story, the Author shows that he cares about the story and his readers that he stays true to the characters but keeps you, the reader wanting to know what's going to happen next, this like the other two are page turners and you got to read. The author wants to hear what you think about his book and if you email him he does get back to you. I can't wait till he gets the next book out so I can continue the lives of those trying to survive!
Interesting plot and characters, but the female characters are nothing like reality. Women cannot beat up men who are in shape and 100lbs heavier. In my experience women are not as aggressive or tough as they are portrayed in this story; but I wish they were. And all the men are portrayed as weaker than the women is insulting. Author must be a eunuch.
The first book was detailed and gripping, and realistic as to what someone would have to deal with if this event actually happened, as well as the family angle and all the decisions about the future. The second book, this one, continued the storyline in good fashion, with some twists, excellent writing, sir.
