To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This product glows really bright after just a small amount of time. The only downside is the stars are quite small and certainly not as big as the average stars you can purchase. Definately worth the cost and the self adhere, so that makes applying them really easy.
Looky hear, I love glow stuff. I've bought tons. My room gets no sun, so glow stuff hardly charges, hardly glows, but THIS stuff's got that tiger blood. This that won't stop, can't stop, netflix binge of glowecstasy.
Do you feel me? Because I don't think you're taking me seriously. This stuff has a PhD in a science IT invented called business physics. It has nothing to do with glowing. It's actually not that interesting. But dang...
Stop searching and star living. Don't glow home without it.
Butt seriously, I never write reviews, and this stuff deserved my time. It's $10, it'll cover a whole wall or ceiling well. You wont be disappointed.
These little stars are wonderful! I made a space window out of my son’s ceiling! The stars are absolutely perfect!!!! One picture is just the stars, one is 1/2 stars and 1/2 with white paint I dots the ceiling and the third is completely 1/2 stars and 1/2 painted white dots.
These stars look great and while they were in the packaging they glow’d great! Now it was time for sticking them to the wall... unfortunately they don’t stick. The adhesive barely stuck to anything. I am so disappointed for my son. He’s sticking them all over his bedroom and just as he stuck them to a wall or piece of furniture, they would fall straight off. I tried to restick them and even tried to stick some new ones to the walls myself. Same thing happened - they wouldn’t stick. Maybe we got an old batch. Who knows. Very disappointed. We hoped for better. We wasted our money on these.
I bought these for my 6yo son’s room. He has textured walls and these did not stick at all. But they all stuck very well on smooth surfaces like his doors, window frames, and furniture. They “charge” readily and he is delighted to see them glowing at bedtime.
There are 3 sheets, each with 3 sizes of stars. They were much smaller than I expected, but they were fun and easy to apply, and we still have half of them for another time!
They sometimes stick pretty stubbornly but they don’t leave behind any residue or damage that we’ve seen.
I bought these for my daughter's room and put them on to her wall while she was in school. I was hoping she would only notice when the lights are turned off at night but she spotted them right away as the starts are pale greenish color in broad daylight. I was surprised how small the stars are but they are quite cute in the dark. It was very easy to install. I haven't tried to take them off but I hope they don't ruin the paint. 3 sheets may seem a lot first but all three sizes are quite small so if you want a nice pattern, you need them all.
I had these on my ceiling when I was a kid, so when my toddler voiced his interest in space, I jumped on this idea out of sheer nostalgia.
I spent about 45 minutes making constellations as well as a gradient of star density to represent the galaxy as viewable from an extremely light pollution free night sky, then realized I was out of stars and only half the ceiling was complete. I clearly needed more stars. Not to say that this isn't a lot of stars, there are over 600 pieces here. Just keep in mind that a lot of them are rather small, and while they work brilliantly for my whole galaxy thing, they might not be perfect for you.
Anyway, with the 1266 stars now stuck to the ceiling of my child's bedroom, with adequate light prior to bedtime his ceiling produces more light than the real stars that they are meant to represent produce. Which is pretty awesome. They rarely fall off, but when one does, it is clearly just a falling star and is also considered awesome by my toddler.
Also, check out the question in the Customer Questions & Answers section asking if they are composed of radium. Funny stuff.
I tried to take a picture of these at night, but it didn't come out. This picture taken during the day also doesn't do these stars justice! I bought a different set of glow-in-the-dark stars years ago, but they were all the same size, you didn't get that many, and you had to use gummy stickers to adhere them to the ceiling (tedious!). With this set, you get a TON - I only used half for a 9 x 12 foot room. ALso, there are a few different sizes, so grouping them in clumps makes it look very realistic. It took me maybe 10 minutes to put these on the ceiling, as all you need to do is peel and stick. I've had them up there about 6 months now, and so far none have fallen down. My boys both love them, and I'm thinking about buying more so I can have some in MY room! It is like looking at a peaceful night sky. One last note, these aren't like other glow in the dark objects I've previously experienced, where you have to turn on the overhead light for 20 minutes before bed time to "charge them", and then the glow only lasts a half hour. These don't seem to need much light at all. There's just one window in this room, but the extra sheet of stars sitting on the top shelf of their closet still glows a ton! Crazy. And the ones on the ceiling glow well past when they're asleep, so it's been nothing but a good experience with these.
I used one pack of these for two average sized rooms and there were plenty. They are really bright which helps spread them out. They come with 3 sheets And 211 per sheet. But i did my girls on the wAlls too and when we shut the lights off that first time I am serious it was like magical. I felt like I had just warped to somewhere else. I had stars as a kid but these are diff. Only issue is you may have to use a flashlight to charge them up.
