I am a first time buyer of this type of product and of course, I bought one of the cheaper ones. I've used this for approximately a week now. I cant pull the bits out to change them, I have to use a plyers (and yes, I've read and followed the instructions). The bits came out fine the first few times and that was it. They Also seem duller allready (thought i saw that they were diamond bits, but I could be wrong on that). Also, loved the idea of the clippers that comes along with it, but they were junk. Broke after a few cuts, I all ready threw them away and am looking for a better pair at this point. Im not an expert on these nail filers, so I'm chalking it up to "You get What you pay for"
I bought this to do my own dip powder nails when the salons closed for COVID. It worked just fine for what I needed - the bits are nice variety, does the job. However after four uses the metal part that the drill bit heads attach to starts spinning loose and has to pushed back into place, then comes loose again intermittently. It’s still usable but I’m sad it’s already busted with even minor use. Unfortunately I’m past my return date or I would send it back. If you’re wanting this for more than personal use I would pick a better quality more durable product.
This took me a few tries to get the hang of it but it's overall a good product. It's not as powerful as I'd like but it does the job on natural nails. It works OK on polygel so I'm not sure it it would do too well on acrylic.
UPDATE: The drill broke after having it for a month and using it on polygel. I used it no more than 10 times but more than 5.
I’ve had this provide not even 2 months, only have used it for 2 nail applications (which I did like the drill, it wasn’t as professional as a nail Salon but it did the job) and I already have to buy a new drill. This product did not come with warranty so I can’t get this fixed/replaced NOR can I get a refund now because the return window closed June 4th lol . I’m very disappointed with this device and highly upset at how quick that it have out. Hopefully they end up offering warranty at some point.
I really loved this product, and I would have given it 5 stars however, after just over 90 days the nail drill broke. It makes a horrible grinding noise when turned on and the speed will not change. I reached out to the seller to see if they had any type of warranty but 5 days later I still have not heard from them, very disappointed.
I have very thick, strong nails and when I placed this on top of my nail to buff, it stopped spinning. The motor was still turning but the nail bit stopped turning. I was not pushing too hard as I had barely laid it on the top of my nail for the first time. The adjustability worked and I was on the highest, the forward and reverse also worked, however, when I placed this on my nail it did nothing.
The sanding pieces it came with dont even fit on the drill! They’re too big and just slide off. Also the drill didn’t give me the results I was looking for, maybe not strong enough or just not to my liking.
I enjoyed this product, it was very easy to use and I love the additional pieces. I gave it a 2 star because it broke within 3 weeks of usage. And I took too long to return it. But it was a good product while it lasted.
