I didn’t think I’d like the Amazon Brand - Goodthreads short-sleeve shirt as much as I did until I received it. As it turns out, it will be one of my go-to shirts in the upcoming warmer weather months. Not only does it fit me well, it feels comfortable, fluid and moves with my every turn. It is on the sheer side, but that’s appropriate for warmer weather wear.
The design is okay and I’m not wild about the color, but I’ll overlook that, because the style looks good on me. What I particularly like are the sleeves, which, fortunately, aren’t too short and hide my flabby arms. Overall, the shirt is an average value for the price, and I would recommend it.

Exactly as currently pictured in the above stock images, this is a pretty all-over, mini daisy pattern for a slightly shaped, cap sleeve style blouse, in '100% Viscose'.
V-necked, it is button-through with 6 material covered buttons around 1 cm in diameter. A spare is thoughtfully included on the inside seam label, which has the use & care instructions (image below refers). The length at the back is around 55 cm on the one I received. There is a 5 cm long split each side.
It washes up well at 30°, drying relatively quickly out on the line in the spring breeze, or in a warm airing cupboard overnight, in my experience. Despite the material, I find it is not that easy to iron. The neck label was a bit scratchy on the one I received but is easily snipped off, also in my experience.
Appearance - this is a pretty blouse for summer. The print is gorgeous and the fabric-covered buttons make it look more expensive. The fabric does have some weight to it so it hangs well and doesn't cling to your body. The slightly flared sleeves add some interest.
Fit - I tried a small and I am not sure what size this equates to (the armpit to armpit measurement is 50cm if that helps). It does seem quite roomy for a small but I like this as I don't want to be wearing clingy clothes on hot days. The flared style of the sleeves also means you have plenty of room and don't have to worry about uncomfortable tight armholes.
Quality - I think this blouse is reasonably good quality. The fabric is soft and isn't too thin. The sewing was generally okay but there were a couple of wonky areas but that seems to be normal with mass-produced clothing now. One thing I did not like is that the fabric around the neckline is not sewn down so I found it sometimes sticks out of the neckline when I moved. I might try and see if I can find a way of putting a few discreet stitches in or I will have to iron the hems down every time I wash it.
This turned out to be quite a surprise. A perfect fit. There is some flexibility in the material and despite being a small size fits a size 12 person very nicely. I would go so far as to say it is quite flattering and a lovely colour with matching buttons and pretty flowers. Very lightweight summer top that looks good with jeans.
This is a pretty blouse, but I strongly recommend wearing a tee shirt or cami, because the buttons constantly pop open as they are too small for the button holes. And I don’t mean 1 or 2 buttons at the bust, ALL the buttons all the way come out. Also, it wrinkles easily and ends up looking rumpled.
I love this, and I'm going to order more in different colors! I wear a large but like cuts that are roomy, so I'm glad I got the XL on this. It doesn't look huge; it's actually slimming on the sides but without clinging. The fabric-covered buttons are classy. The sleeve length is great ... short sleeve but not super short. The V-neck is just right ... not too deep.
I normally wear a medium, size 8. I am 5' 8, 29" waist, 144lbs, 36 DD. I love the patterns on this blouse but it's just not going to work. The buttons constantly come undone. I am not willing to sew the entire thing shut and have to peel it on and off, esp. considering the price. If I size up, it will be too big everywhere else. It also is a bit short and would not work well on someone with a long torso. I think this would be a lovely blouse on a petite person.
