The Lightning Collection is the best toy lineup so far for Power Rangers fans! The SPD Red Ranger figure looks very accurate to how he looks on the show too! Plus, it comes with an unmasked head just like the actor who played Jack Landors. If you're huge PR fan, especially SPD, I recommend getting these figures. If they keep this up, we'll likely get most of the teams completed.
I am glad I finally ordered this toy. I had always only purchased Japanese version toys including Super Sentai S.H.Figuarts. Apparently the leg joint of Deka Red has a huge problem as I ordered two of them from Japan and both are broken in box or broken with one day (left leg). I was so disappointed after two disappointments (I ordered both from Japan and had to sell them on eBay with a lower price afterwards since they have broken leg.
I am glad that I came across with this toy, this Power Ranger SPD version is much more solid and durable and can be posed without worry about breaking it (it is kindly hard to break it even if you want to). I do not necessarily like the super muscular built though. But overall great price, and very playable, I am happy that this figure can do numerous pose (especially shooting with 2 guns). I purchased Deka Master and Deka Break afterwards (Not sure its American name but it is the dog ranger and the white ranger. This product opens the door for me to US version power ranger toys :)
Note to Amazon; if the packaging is damaged, the merchandise's value is significantly diminished for bonafied collectors. In fact, It pretty much becomes worthless. So stop shipping things in cheap plastic envelopes; their guaranteed to be ruined. That being said, all of the quality control issues that have become synonymous with the Hasbro brand in recent years are all present here. The paint apps are so sloppy you can help but laugh at the sheer absurdity of it (and the fact that we keep spending our hard earned money on this rubbish).
