When you go to take The needle off, The instructions are not as clear as they should be. what I end up having to do; after I put the yellow and then the white cap back on; is twist it until almost the very end and then having to squeeze it and pull it off. and the needle does not always come off the pen completely. at times as it should. I have to go back and twist it off without the white cap on And yellow cap still covering the needle; from the bottom right where the pen and the needle apparatus will Separate.
Giving these a 3 star because the needles work great but after use when you screw the cap back on the cap doesn’t fit on the bottom half where the needle is correctly so I have to take the needle off then put it in the cap. Poked myself a few times now doing so. These are not necessarily practical but they are there if I need them on short notice and cheap. I usually use BD brand and will probably go back to buying those. Video attached for reference
Not one single needle has come off with the cap. Have to take it off by hand and shove in cap, risking finger pricks. A bit of resistance going in, but not too bad. It may have also broken my Lantus pen ENTIRELY, which is not cheap. It leaks insulin all over, even put an old BD needle on it but the top of the pen is destroyed, and I just started it. Very expensive problem. Can't tell what caused it for sure but now I am nervous about using them. But the removal thing IS annoying. Every. Single. Time.
the needle is perfectly fine to attach to pen, inject, but when you go to remove it from the pen, it unscrews and then when you pull the cap, it does not stick to the needle, which stays on the pen. sort of no big deal, but annoying, and other brands don't have this problem.
Bought these for my daughter. She complains that they are dull, and she must use force to inject them. Also, the internal needle is bent on about 1 in 10, so they don't pierce the pen properly. Not recommended.
These are the best needles that I have used. Very easy to use and glides right in when injecting reducing discomfort. I use insulin twice a day and often I do not even feel it. Very happy I found this and would definitely recommend.
