What can I say, I like to be prepared in case of emergencies! Besides having things like tissues and wet wipes in my purse, I like having these flossers on hand as well for those days you might accidentally have some spinach stuck in your teeth after a lunch date. I used to have a snack baggie full of these in my purse before I discovered that they now have a carrying case! It’s a must have in my bags!
Some people complained about the colors of the case they got, but I honestly could care less since the bright color just makes it easier to spot in my purse when I need a placker. For the price of .98 cents, I definitely will be buying more just so I can have them in multiple bags and not worry about transferring them when I want to switch bags for the day.
I wrote an opinion when I bought this a couple weeks ago - stating I like the concept, the floss size, and about the 2 Oral-B's I have been using. My Opinion Was Never Posted (or I can't find it) - Sucks - I thought what I said was clear, concise, and was 'IMHO'. I like these, at the cost I bought them, and wish I had bought many more before the 'price' went up. The handle is comfortable, easy to use, and one does Not keep getting stuck buy a pointy end. My current floss pics are another brand. I hate the sharp point of the floss handle.. This one let's you 'flip out' the pic, if you need it, or just leave it in and have an nice, smooth, handle to floss with. I get 5-7 good, strong flosses, before the floss breaks. The floss is thin, slim, and will fit the tooth/gum gap. I WILL buy this product again. I think the handle is long and strong enough for flossing. I think the floss is strong enough to use several times, before it fails. And, I think it does an Excellent job of flossing, gum stimulation, and particle removal. All is IMHO. I like it.
I bought these as a stocking stuffer for my husband how uses a lot of toothpicks during the day. They are the perfect size to fit unobtrusively in the car, purse, bag, or desk drawer. I ended up using the second box and find they are sturdy enough to pick between my close teeth without the string breaking. I also like the fold out sharp picker. It isn't as sharp as other floss picks I've used but works great for weekday lunches when something is stuck in my teeth. I don't think it would replace your daily flossing but works great for on the go teeth needs.
I purchased this little Plackers Micro Mint Flossers with Travel Case to keep in my purse zipper compartment for "emergencies" aka getting something stuck in between my teeth, such as pepper, lettuce, herbs, whatever. I can go to the powder room and remove whatever it is. I feel better having these in tow. We love Plackers for use here at home, which make flossing easy. With age, it just seems things tend to get stuck more, and these are a great idea to have along, just for in case. I can refill the case, if I do end up needing to use them. The case is easy to open and close and feels like it will stay closed well in my purse. These are a great idea! I'm very happy to have this little Travel Case of Plackers tucked away in my purse!
These little plastic boxes of flossers are awesome! I keep one in my purse, glove box, nightstand, office desk, etc. Really comes in handy, especially if you're out and about. I actually bought tons of these, and now just keep refilling them from bigger packages you can get here, or at the club stores (I prefer the double floss picks, and they fit just fine in these boxes).
Placker is not floss just for all of you to know. Really it is like a toothpick to get food out when you are eating outside. If you use this to replace flossing completely good luck you will be looking at bill from the dentist pretty soon. It will do the job of getting food out once, and please throw it away after one use. It is not reusable.
This floss has good pick that is better than wood toothpick. My problem is that the distance between the floss and the curved bottom is too shallow to reach the deeper end of my tooth wall. Before reaching the deep end the curved up arms hit my gum. That is the reason for only 4 stars. Overall, this floss will be convenient to keep in pocket all the time. The absence of a sharp end prevents injury.
There is nothing more aggravating then wooden toothpicks that break off between your teeth. I’ve tried multiple brands in the past but Plackers is my #1 and only brand of choice! The mint flavor is great.
I never leave home without Dental Floss Sticks! I usually throw a few in my purse or wallet, then, spend forever trying to remember where I put them. This travel case is absolutely genius! I wish I knew long ago that Plackers made these convenient little carry along cases. Absolutely Brilliant!
I have always used floss picks. I just think they are more convenient and easier to use than regular floss..
Plackers minted flossers have a slight mint taste. It makes your mouth feel refreshed. It does not shred or break while using it, that is major because a lot of floss picks do. This one has a toothpick that folds so that you can get extra debri from your teeth. It comes in a convenient case that will carry 12 picks.
I'm very happy with these floss picks and I feel like you should give them a try!
