“All That Escapes” ... this book is a brilliant follow up/continuance and again captured my attention totally all the way through .... looking forward to reading the next in this series. Strongly recommend.
Many people will focus their criticism on little things like throwing a pistol in a creek disposes of it. I've recovered many things lost in lakes and streams. Minor things like that aren't why I enjoy these books. Characters with depth and layers keep it interesting. If the heroes did everything right how boring would that be. Nice job Jack, please write another.
I'm surprised, in a way, how invested I've become in these characters. Starting with Book 1, I just let the story flow and unfold, and was very pleased at the conclusion, knowing before I finished the first that I'd be getting the second, and then the third. Maybe it helps to be familiar with the AT, having spent alot of time section-hiking in many places and states, it brings the events into vivid life. Mr. Hunt has done a fine job with this series, I'm about to download the fourth book, can't wait to start it! Thank you, Sir, please keep up the good works, I'll be checking out the other series, as well!
Well, it sounds like I'm not the only one looking forward to Book 4. I've really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It's been one of those can't stop reading kind of stories. Always special to enjoy a book and look forward to the next one!!
I have it a 5 only because there were only 5 stars. Truly a fantastic read that kept me guessing. Kept looking for Billy to show up and he did. Look forward to the next installment. Anyone would love this series!
The continuing journey of Landon and Beth is mesmerizing. But the added story of the life of those left behind in Maine, the complications from a FEMA invasion and the situations arriving with the local “I’m in charge crazies” weaves together a book that is impossible to put down.
