Good value for price - but you are getting what you pay for.

Overall, I would recommend this product as a budget microphone. The parts are fine, and work as intended. The pop filter was a little fiddly to set up, and the neck isn't as sturdy as I like - that is, it droops a little. The work around is obviously to set it up a little higher, so it can "droop" into place. Not ideal, but not the end of the world.
The actual recording is fine. There is a bit of background static, which is what I also get with my Samson Meteor Mic. The Samson mic is essentially the same price, but is a little bit better in quality - just doesn't come with all the bells and whistles. If I had to decide which to buy, I would pick this over the Samson - only because of all the extras that come along. The background static can be removed through free software such as Audacity.
One slight problem is that sometimes when recording you'll get a large screech. Sometimes so loud you can't even hear your recording. I think this comes down to the power consumption/not sitting in the USB port correctly. I am using an older computer, and I suspect it might not be delivering enough power, thus the mic seems to mess up. When it does happen I just reconnect the mic, and try again. That usually fixes it. Not ideal, but again, not the end of the world.
In the end, you get what you pay for. Minor hassles for a budget mic that does it's job, was easy to set up, and looks great.
