It is a tilt corner bracket for a camera. Documentation boasts the adhesive tabs on each side are all you need to affix to a wall corner. Then there is the reality. The adhesive tabs don't stick well, and if you want to remove or if it falls off then the sheet rock surface comes off with it. The instructions say something the product description does not: use a hair dryer to warm the surface and wait 24 hrs to use after installing the bracket. I wound up using two sheet rock screws because that worked. The hard plastic did not split and it was all good. The bracket itself=ok. The adhesive tabs=no good. If you really need a bracket and nothing else is available, this will work. However, forget about the adhesive tape working and forget about waiting 24 hours before using. As if a small security camera 's weight would cause galaxies to crash into one another, as if the weight of a small security camera in mere ounces could make the bracket not stay sticking. Come on now. And what's with the contest entry forms and win this and that and the other thing? I just want a bracket that sticks. If I want lottery, I will buy a lottery ticket.
I bought 2 of these for my children's room and one of the holders fell after a few days.
You need a hair dryer to have the adhesive stick to the wall and wait at least 24 hours before applying. You will need to plan on when to apply the holder if you are using this for your baby. Every time I thought of applying, my baby was taking a nap or sleeping for the night and took me a couple days to actually have it on the wall.
After a few days of the holder on the wall, it fell with my camera on it. I had to order a replacement holder because the adhesive was not sticky to reapply and I did not trust it to hold my monitor.
Overall the adhesive is not convenient for busy parents because you need to apply with heat and wait for the adhesive to stick.
This fell off the first day! The tape they send with it is not strong enough to hold it on the wall! I’m glad my camera did not break that would be very upsetting! I had bears below so it landed in a soft area! Glad it didn’t fall on baby! Would not recommend, use screws or bolts for safety reasons.
I couldn’t use the adhesive it came with bc it would damage our walls but if your looking for long term use, it will definitely work. I just don’t enjoy how much of an angle it really is. Even though it came with the little screw to keep the camera put, it still some how falls off. The screw comes out easily for some reason and it falls. It’s happened maybe 3 times now. I’m planning to go to Lowe’s and seeing if I can find a longer screw and nut to see if that helps
This is a handy little shelf and if I had a better place to put it it would work really well for my baby camera. It is not the fault of the shelf. It’s super well made. I do wish that it hadn’t come with the adhesive tabs on it. I live in a rental so I had to take it off and used 12lb com and strips in their place.
Perfect for baby monitor! It doesn’t fit flush in the corner, it’s sloped downward. But I was able to secure the monitor and it has worked out great. Very easy to install and I didn’t have to screw anything into the walls.
