To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It took me a long time to open this box, but when I did it had a half finished piece of sewing in it, and white stuff all over the pedal. This is clearly used. I don’t have a problem with a used product, but this was thrown in here so carelessly! I plugged it in and it seems to work. But, wtf? There’s obviously no quality control here. You get what you pay for.
Cheap, and I don't mean inexpensive. The stitch was extremely loose so I adjusted it with the adjustment knob... which promptly came loose and shot the spring across the room. It took several attempts with multiple spring flings, and about 3 hours to get a stitch that didn't just pull out. The thread gets caught up in the bobbin compartment and locks up. The power cord is very short... plan on setting up a table less than 3 feet from an outlet. The foot release lever doesn't stay in the up position. The foot switch has to be positioned just right or the cords will tip it on its side. Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra money on a quality machine.
