I like the fact this is a woven interfacing. Nice weight for lining deonstructed silk neckties used in making quilted cell phone purses and multiple size cross body bags. The only major problem with this product isn't the product but the lack of application instructions. The only directions given was the temperature of the iron setting. Is this to be used with a pressing cloth - damp or dry. Should the iron be on the steam setting or dry setting? I shall try several methods to see what is the best application method.
I am so pleased with this interfacing! It provides the 3rd layer of protection in high quality masks for containment of viral (currently Covid-19) contamination. This seller & company are highly recommended!
I am making a very important T-Shirt Quilt for my retired Navy son. This is my first T-shirt Quilt. This fusible Interfacing worked beautifully. My T-shirts came out nice & smooth. I had one little wrinkle due to my not watching closely while ironing it on. I tried to lift it to fix my mistake & it stuck just like it is suppose to. As it turned out it will be Okay. I understand this is a small business which I love supporting. THEY NEED OUR HELP & they have a good product.
Lolona Fashion interfacing is the best interfacing I have ever purchased!!. It's lightweight, easy to use and performs in garment/project better than I anticipated. This vendor also delivered a project timely and the packaging was wonderful. Lolona, seamstresses will be blessed to locate and purchase from your shop. I will certainly be a repeat purchaser.
I purchased this product for the first time because the one I usually use is out of stock. But this product is so far superior to what I was using I will use it in the future instead. I use it to make interfaced face masks, and it works beautifully for that. It fuses well to both the outside, often pieced, face mask halves, and equally well to the lining pieces, also sometimes pieced. (I used to do quilting a lot before the pandemic.) In addition, the non-fusing side takes my cut-line markings with a pen around my template excellently well. I would heartily recommend this interfacing to anyone making face masks. (It doesn't hurt that its a "Made in the USA" product!)
Very pleased with this product. I will use it as an extra layer in facemasks. I made my first one and it fused perfectly. The quality of the fabric is excellent. It makes a perfect liner for my pleated masks. I will order again from Lolana Fashions. Thank you.
I bought it to stabilize a worn out T-shirt being made into a throw pillow. I am not much of a sewer or crafter, so I can't compare this to any other interface, but it worked great for me. Directions say to fuse at 130 to 150 C. I used the cotton setting on my iron and had no problems. However, when I looked up the conversion (after the fact!) it turns out that's a bit too hot. I will use the wool setting next time. I am very happy with my purchase. The order came promptly and correctly, the product is good.
As far as iron on interfacings go, this one is especially high quality and easy to iron on medium to lightweight fabric. I used it for making for face masks. I liked that it was cotton therefore more breathable, and it helped shape masks adding another layer between two pieces of cotton fabric. It would work well for any projects needing an interfacing.
