I wish the ingredients were listed. This cream I thought would be harmless since it is natural but containes PHENOXYETHANOL which is a very controversial ingredient known to be dangerous and linked to nervous system issues and possibly cancer. I would rather not take the risk
The consistency of the cream is nice enough that a little goes a long way, it's not too thick/ glue-like. It absorbs pretty quick so I don't have to wait forever to put my shirt on. There's little to no smell as well which is nice. I've always been a fan of Burt's Bee products - a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Would recommend.
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I use it ALL the time. But, this product is so good you probably only need it every second day. It doesn't just soak into your skin like other lotions and it isn't oily. It stays on your skin moisturizing it. I am obsessed. There is no smell, which is important when pregnant and sensitive. I am almost out and plan on buying this again for sure! Also: 27 weeks and zero stretch marks still wish me luck.
I use this butter in the morning, before wearing my work or school clothes. I wait for about a minute and it dries off completely, doesn't stain my clothes. Doesn't have the best smell, but I like it a lot. I used it during my first pregnancy as well and I don't have any scars left. I used three other products (sticky and oily ones) so I cannot say that this prevented stretch marks all by itself, but it definitely was the one I chose if I was going to wear clothes that I didn't want to stain.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant and started using this belly butter when I was on my 20th week, if I remember it right. Had I bought this during my 1st trimester, I wouldn't be using it because of its scent. I apply this belly butter 3-4 times a week, before bedtime and/or after bath, and the rest using Burts Bees Mama Bees Nourishing Oil. It's creamy but not sticky, very moisturizing. It's absorbed well by my skin and I believe it's a big factor why I don't have a single stretchmark and my belly doesn't feel itchy!
Only reason why I rate it 4/5 is because of the scent (thank goodness, my sense of smell relaxed by the time I purchased this so I was able to start using it right away) and couldn't see this item from Burt's Bees website. I wonder whether it was discontinued.
Burt’s Bees Mama Bee line isn’t only for mothers. I love the scent of the body oil and other products in this line. This leg and foot cream is soothing for achy legs and sore feet, while smelling minty and refreshing. Like Burt’s Bees coconut foot cream, this foot cream contains coconut oil and is moisturizing and helps cracked, dry feet.
