Disappointed. Bought last Tickr after my Garmin strap gave out and was more than happy, never missed a (heart) beat. This new one however needed updating straight out of the box as was giving high readings, no problem with that, but it seems to cut out several times during exercise. Will constantly disconnect and reconnect intermittently. Not reliable.
Regardless of how much I wet the sensors and how tight or loose it is, it will periodically stick to a single HR and drop down in big steps. Then work again for a while. It happens regardless of exersion level, i.e <200W steady, >400W up a climb and even sweating on an indoor trainer. This happens on both Apple-TV box Bluetooth connection and Garmin Edge head unit.
Very comfortable and slimline with the LEDs a good touch to see it working. Bought to replace a worn out version of another big brand but this proved to be highly inaccurate- heart rate was consistently 30-40bpm too low. Great service from amazon so was returned for a refund and replaced with another well known brand
Great device - when it works. I have to snap it on my chest and then wait 15 minutes before it warms up. This delay in functioning started 35 days after purchase. Very accurate and very helpful when it works.
Not a good product, intermittently it works, it connects to zwift or the wahoo app but 0 shown for HR then halfway thru the ride it comes on. Not good enough, i'd like Wahoo to please contact me. DO NOT BUY
I just can't figure this HR strap out. The results are sheer wonky and I have no confidence in the results. From 125 bpm resting HR and then 135 on a max effort, and everything in between. Wahoo has some bugs to work out before recommending this one.
Really wanted to like this HR monitor because the Garmin batter design was trash. But this thing is hit or miss. Sometimes it reads perfect other times it just sits at 132bpm for 10 mins straight. Pairing with Garmin 935. Works great when it works. Too spotty for me. Unfortunate cause the physical design is awesome.
It worked very well for a short period but in a period of less than 4 months I've had to replace the batteries twice. Mine appears to be defective since the manufacturer suggests much longer use between battery changes.
