First let me say that this series is excellent. Great characters, and the story itself is amazing. Book three, broadened the story line, introduced more characters, and was a well written, third installment. I literally read it in two days, (dang job). I need more, and I really hope that the author continues the saga. Amazing read!
“Behind every great leader there was an even greater logistician.” ... This book, the third in this series takes a different tact then every other post-apocalyptic book out there by concentrating on the mechanics of survival in a world of misery. Battles are won or lost often times well before the opposing sides face each other, by which side is the better prepared. Arthur didn't become the Caravan Man without first becoming a master logistician and tactician; someone (perhaps) the only one that really saw the big picture and understood what it would take to accomplish his goals. This was an amazing book for the detail that Arthur put into his planning and execution of those plans. An amazing story, highly recommend.
Once again, the Watsons(Thomas and Tina) have managed to capture the attention of thousands if not millions. Viral 3 talks of the mechanics, logistics and training as well as the grit to survive in a global pandemic. The legendary Caravan Man and his Caravan have thinned out gangs and now approach folks who do not pillage, rape murder and burn but still consider themselves a gang, something like a Girls club or Lions Club. Along the way the deftly explain their logic in the approaches they take while accepting aand implementing better viewpoints. Very very well done, Tommy and Tina.
This series starts out like most of them--a man & his wife live off the grid way back in the country. She's away on a cruise when The Virus hits & has to get home. This is where all similarities end. The virus kills adults, but not children. So now you have all these little kids running around trying to stay alive. I read all three books as fast as I could. Absolutely excellent. I wish the author would write a 4th & 5th & 6th book because book 3 just stopped. I really need to find out what happens to these people!
Tina and Tommy have once again, written a masterpiece. The end of life as we knew it has changed the priorities of Arthur, Wendy, Jason, Samantha, Joseph and Sarah. With children outnumbering the adults, the tides have turned and the way of life is being adjusted. Threats are everywhere and only some of them have 2 legs! This Viral Misery thriller is more non-stop action, mixed with drama and a sense of humor that will make you wet your pants! Kudos to the authors for another amazing story!
