I got this while still pregnant & found it too restrictive for my belly. I was carrying twins though & all of my weight was at my belly. I didn't wear it while pregnant. I tried it post partum to help hold my saggy belly in but it didn't offer enough back support or feel snug enough. After the babies were out I could've probably gone a size smaller than I had. Doesn't help that a few days after delivery I lost 34 lbs in water weight! I ended up getting a belly band/back support/ waist trainer that I have been using instead. Little disappointed this product couldn't be used for me.
Bought size 1 and they are already a bit tight. I’m 10 weeks prego, 135 lbs and 5’3 and they are starting to feel small on me. I was debating what size to get but then I read a review of someone that said they were month’s into their pregnancy about same height and weight as me now and size 1 fit them well…. I guess we all carry our weight differently. I’m here buying another size since I do like the material and that they have that sticky thing around to keep it from rolling up. There is also quite of extra fabric left on the top that I always have fold it, bigger torso wouldn’t have that issue but us short people definitely have extra fabric left.
I followed sizing guide and got the small. It felt OK for the first months but would be useful for the rest. So I switched for M. It feels comfortable but I don't know if it's going to help the skin or compression/lifting clothing (less weight). I would also add a second plastic non slipping band at the bottom so it doesn't move that much. But I also understand that it is supposed to be easy belly reach...(?) Packaging was nice. They are pricey but I guess it's because of the button pant straps. They are somewhat useful but you must use them with the band. Otherwise you'll have a hole beneath the strap.
Since these provide good coverage under shirts for a long torso, I wear them a lot, even when not pregnant. I wear a size 4 in pants, so based on the size chart, I bought a size 1, but it was very, very tight, especially if I had been pregnant. I could hardly get it over my hips while wearing jeans. So, I got a size 2, and that also felt tight, but then didn't seem to stay in place. The sticky silicone strip at the bottom end was a good idea, but I find it tends to just roll up. The waistband extenders are a really nice bonus, but I just don't love the product. I like BeBand or Bella Band much better.
The idea of this product is great, I love that it comes with the button extension. I have 2 major problems with this item: 1.) the button extension does not have a secure way to keep buttoned. Aka it comes with a very small button that could easily come undone.
2.) it does not help keep your pants up. Every time I sit down, I have to pull my pants back up when I stand. I’m currently only 21 weeks, but I imagine this problem will only become worse
The little elastic bands for jeans don’t hold well. I wish they had a button in the middle. The first closest one is too tight and the other 2 are too far & unbutton constantly. The bad is ok. It stretches and I don’t have much problems of rolling up but for some reason mid day to end of day my whole stomach feels sore. I have to take it off. It’s super stretchy but it puts pressure on it. I just decided to stop using them and go straight to maternity jeans.
I am in the in-between phase of pregnancy where my regular pants are too snug to button comfortably but maternity pants are too big in the belly. The band itself works well so far and stays in place. It doesn’t really smooth the area where my pants are unbuttoned, but I am wearing loose shirts now anyway. My problem is that the product advertises the band AND the button extenders, yet I did not receive the extenders in my package. Super disappointed about it since I chose this product because it was a package deal with all items.
So the size 4 is NOT for plus size. I wore a 16 before pregnancy I’m only 13 weeks and got these to try and wear my jeans longer as well as some of my tighter yoga pants I tried it on without any pants on and it was already super tight. If you are above a size 16/18 and are on the curvy side like you have a butt then I would look for a different brand. The support is excellent and it felt good as far as shaping but it will not support my belly for very long. I did really like the button extenders which made the order for me.
I do like these bands, they are comfortable to wear. They seem to better for when standing up. My job consists of a lot of movement and I have found myself adjusting my wrap many times throughout the day. I partly wonder if the size is too small for me. I ordered the largest size but feel it maybe slightly tighter than I’d hoped for. Still it is a nice material and does not itch or rub me raw so that is great.
Sizing is off. I ordered my normal size and they were too small. I would suggest ordering up a size. With the correct size these are great! You can slightly seem them under tighter shirts but overall they are pretty good.
