I was hoping for the flaps around the nose to block out more light than the standard Quest 2 facial interface, but unfortunately it does little to fix light bleed. However, it's very comfortable and a general improvement over the standard interface.
PROS:
- easy to wipe down and keep clean, probably no sweaty smells in the long term
- adds a bit more padding to the mediocre standard facial interface, more comfortable for longer sessions
- very easy to put on and take off, which makes it even easier to clean without getting water near your headset
CONS:
- the nose flaps are too high up to really do much about light leakage
- despite the product listing claiming "it won't feel sweaty in summer", it's probably sweatier than the standard interface (although this is kind of balanced out by the fact it's easy to clean)
