4.0 out of 5 stars A Unique Twist On The Secret Alien War Genre
Reviewed in Australia on 24 August 2021

Exactly as it says on the tin. This was a unique twist on the secret alien invasion war trope. A well paced story of war with different campaigns playing out for the seemingly amusement of all powerful galactic powers. Lesser races play along or are wiped out. If you have read the author's other works then you know what to expect. I will be following on with the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars This was missing something.

I'm a big fan of the bobverse series. This was kind of like that, only it never drew me in the same way. It lacked the emotional human attachment. It felt hallow. That was why I gave it 4 stars.

But I enjoyed it and I'll read the second. But if its only as good as this one I might drop the series and wait for his next derelict book to come out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Strategy Action

A good start for this series ,would have preferred this to be a little longer so we get a bit more of a feel for things and see some cooler upgrades but this looks to be put into book 2 more. Well written and great for those who like the levelling up for battle warfare strategy games.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Deep Immersion into a Dean Henegar World!

As a lover of the Limitless Lands stories I was intrigued to see where this story would go. It does not disappoint and drew me in by the end of the first page! With Earth literally on the line War Cores are faced with defending Earth from voracious aliens. Cannot wait for the sequel.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Read

A different take on an already vastly used type of genre. More like a mobile dungeon core book with a military style than some I've read, worth a read if you like playing strategy games and enjoy dungeon core novels.

3.0 out of 5 stars Military Core Tale

I think this is going along the lines of a military cultivation tale. Reminds me of a old Keith Laumer SF story with respect to harvesting human brains to run alien war machines.

Another fantastic Core book, this time a war variant instead of a dungeon, but absolutely brilliant, loved it! Definitely recommend
