How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where do I start? Buyer beware.

The second time I buy this device and will no longer try to work with this company’s customer service. The first device came in chewed up like if a dog had his paws on it. Tried to talk to the Owlet company about replacing the device and they told us it was not their problem that we had to contact Amazon. So we did and Amazon did a great job replacing it. Don’t know why I got the second device but just because it was not chewed up does not mean it worked for it’s intended purpose.

The Dream sock only comes with two fitting socks sizes that are either left foot or right and it’s either too small or too big. The spotty sensor constantly gave inaccurate readings with my kids sleeping patters. It would also tell me that my kid would be moving when I was watching her lay still.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GET THIS DEVICE TILL THEY FIGURE OUT WHAY THEY ARE DOING WITH THIS DEVICE.

1.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate and Dangerous

It “worked” for one week, and then the truth came out. Long story short: comparing the data from the sock with data from medical technology proves the sock is worthless. Our sock showed a heart rate of 284, and oxygen sats of 88. In actuality, heart rate of 148, and oxygen sats at 95. Here’s the worst part: the owlet failed to alarm when the heart rate was so high, and then completely stopped working. Owlet’s customer service spent two hours “troubleshooting” with me, just to blame me for incorrect sock placement. They want the sock so tight it cuts off circulation. Does that sound safe to you? And if that is truly the issue causing wildly inaccurate readings/no readings at all, there’s no way this product should be used. I’m not willing to hurt my child to try and get useless data. In actuality, Owlet’s dream sock is a bad piece of technology. It’s inaccurate and useless. Might I also mention Owlet’s customer service refused to let me speak to someone higher up, and ended the conversation without any resolution.

1.0 out of 5 stars No oxygen monitoring

This just monitors the quality of your babies sleep. Most parents have the bassinet next to you and know when your baby need something. It no longer monitors babies oxygen. It’s deceiving as it’s like the old one and goes on your babies foot. By the time my baby was born and I opened it it was outside the return window. Huge waste of $300!!

1.0 out of 5 stars false advertising

Great product to monitor sleep, but does not monitor heart and breathing the way it’s advertised. The sock 2 also does not accurately monitor heart rate and breathing there’s a 10 min delay. If you read reviews and past lawsuits the sock can not properly do these functions. It’s best to do your research before buying.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sensor is bad

Received next day, Thank you Amazon.
Bought this for my Son and Daughter in-law. They had trouble charging product. They called the company, Owlet was going to send them a sensor, scheduled for drop off 7 days later "because the part is back ordered". Owlet would not just replace with new sock. I cannot in good conscious recommend this product, and especially not the company.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the hassle

I tried for almost an hour to try to connect the charging dock to our WiFi and was unsuccessful. We tried troubleshooting our home WiFi router and contacting customer support and couldn’t get any help. The pieces feel cheaply made and do not warrant the price it’s set at.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Useless

Would love to actually say the product did something but the app constantly crashed making it absolutely useless. We tried on multiple devices and every time you just open the app, it immediately closes and errors out. This item is way to expensive to have an app that is absolute garbage. Definitely don't recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not like the Smart Sock
Reviewed in the United States on 25 July 2022

I should have done more research, but I assumed this was like the previous version that would alert you in the even their heart rate or oxygen dipped. I was wrong. Don’t get me wrong the sleep tracking is helpful but not worth 300. I am really disappointed that it took me this long to figure it out. I could have saved myself a whole lot of money. What a waste.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cost so much just to tell you when sleeping

It costs so much money to not alert you on anything and just tracks when baby is sleeping or awake and is not accurate at all.
